My grandfather's memorial service was today. Since he served bravely and proudly during World War 2 and the Korean War, he was bestowed up a Honor Guard service during his burial. I had the honor of carrying his casket and I am proud to have done it! So to keep in line with beer, after a great meal with our family my wife and I headed to The Farmer's Cabinet for some drinks. We met a great server that made a great experience. My wife had the KERKOM BINK BRUIN on tap and I started with a Loverbeer Madamin on tap. Next for me was the Verdial Imperial Stout, which most of you who follow me know I love! Also the server was kind enough to let us try Buffalo Trace Bourbon, and the RittenHouse 101 bourbon as well. For the end was a 3 oz pour of the Baladin Xaxyu Gold. What an excellent and gorgeous brandywine. I really thought that others who do not like Italian craft beer are sadly mistaken, but we are not here to be rude and disrespectful. But one taste of this will change your mind on what Italians can do! Thanks to all who read this tribute! Cheers, fellow BA's!
When you talk about some you love you believe he was special not only to you, but to others whether family, friends, or strangers, he was kind!
Sorry for your loss, lots of strength and food wishes to you and your family. Glad you enjoyed the brews!
