    I like IPAs on nitro.

Then again I like a lot of stuff that doesnt get good reviews either.

My palate dont discriminate very often.

I did the Sam Adams Nitro wheat and I agree, I was flat tasting, but the big head was appealing and I liked the creamy feel too. It won't be on my shopping list again anytime soon.

    I love 'em.
But more so with subtle English ales.

There is nothing better than a light, bready, biscuity ale with a creamy head and mouthfeel (I'm talking about you, Tetley's)

I've tried a few USA craft nitros and it's pretty gross. Mixing up the strong flavors and hoppiness with the cream just doesn't work.

It's supposed to be about subtlety (in the flavor) with the emphasis on the creamy mouthfeel.
I don't think the US craft market will ever get into that.

Interestingly enough, the idea of nitro as the next big trend came up on this week's episode of The Beer Temple Insiders Roundtable podcast, which everyone should check out.

Incidentally, I assume some folks here have had the Sam Adams Nitro series? Worth trying? They're a little pricey in my market - about 10 bucks or so - and was hoping for some thoughts before pulling the trigger.

Try Tetley's on cask and you would never want it on nitro again

Left Hand does a very good job with Nitros, especially Wake Up Dead.

I enjoyed the Founders Centennial Nitro. Probably wouldn't get it all the time but it was a nice change.

Had a very disappointing young's double chocolate from a can last night. I have tried a number of nitros but the only one that really got it right is 4th Taps Supernaught, perfect every time.

I just had Hard Wired Nitro last night and I imagine it would be twice as good were it not nitro.

I had a Hop Devil acouple months back at a bar and thought it was pretty good. I would guess not every beer would be good nitro'd tho.

I didn't really enjoy the Samuel Adams Nitro IPA tho, it tasted off and kinda flat.

I've had a couple nitro ipas and I wasn't a big fan. However, I really enjoy Old Chub nitro, so I think it depends on style for me.

Haha I was going to mention that. Probably the worst IPA that I've had in a long time. I assume they are going after some semi-craft market that I definitely dont fall into, but still....

Can't think of any beers that I have ever had that I liked nitro better than regular CO2.

Nitro rocks. Currently drinking left hand nitro coffee porter and its like sweet sweet velvety chocolate coffee. Don't let the haters fool you.

Ive had an Old Rasputin on nitro and it was pretty damn tasty. But generally prefer co2 beers.

May sound weird, or maybe not, the nitro beers I've had in the past have been just too smooth. Like a little bit of bite in my beer no matter what the style. I'll drink a milkshake or malt if I want something that smooth. As I said, this may sound pretty stupid, but just had this conversation with one of my buddies who lives and dies by Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout.

I had Breckenridge vanilla porter on nitro and it was amazing. I like the creamy mouthfeel but nitro pours are still hit and miss.

Generally don't care for it but I recently had North Coast's Old No. 38 on nitro and it is easily one of the best beers I've ever had.
