I ended up re-using the ones I had. Thanks everyone for making me feel better about re-using them. That's an excellent point about carboys. They're just as hard to clean and it'd be silly to get a new one every time. A keg also seems to have a lot of cracks and crevices and parts that are hard to get to and everyone continues to reuse a keg as well. I'll continue to trust in PBW.

As mentioned, I reuse and usually recycle after a few (5 or so) uses. I do recycle the ones that have crap at the bottom, as it is just not worth the time to clean them out. Get your friends to drink decent beer and rise the bottles and you will have plenty to turn over.
