Todd Haug / Badger Hill Collab

Looks very good. I'll have to make the trek there when it comes out.

 

I guess it's my turn at this: So...you work there?

 

Interested in trying the collab brew. I think they are a solid brewery that makes some pretty tasty stuff. Traitor and Hop Hill are nice hoppy beers. Nothing from them has blown me out of the water but it seems like they are hitting their stride.

 

They are very consistently good, and sometimes great. Their recent Tripel is the best Tripel I've had (not that I've had a ton).

I don't understand the tendency of some breweries to go with such tasteless label art.

 

Oh sure, coincides with the Silhouette release party. This could be a long (and expensive) day. And I will hate myself Sunday morning.

 

It's a long drive between Shakopee and Stillwater too. Hopefully the roads are better than today!

Not exactly sure what's "tasteless" about that label art. It's pretty much exactly what I was expecting being as Todd was involved.

 

Guys! I mapped it out and I think it's possible to hit all 4 if you get to Hexit right at noon... who's with me? Should I budget extra time for jail when I get pulled over?

Right. It reminds me of much of Surly's label art. Very dark and occultist. It's a minor thing, sure, but it's just off-putting to me.

 

It looks like a drawing of Todd wearing a hood pouring honey. If you're offended or off put by that, perhaps drinking beer isn't your thing.

 

I'm not sure what label art preferences have to do with a person's affinity for drinking beer.

 

Can we just agree to end this disagreement before it further deludes this thread? yes, some people find things tasteless that others don't. I personally like the art work. Someone else might not. Whatever. Let's drink beer. Cool?

Did not know that. Silhouette for Hexitt wouldn't be a very good deal then.
