Todd the Axe Man

This is in line with what I was told by the guy from Surly at Tribes Fest. He also said that they produced less Todd the Axe Man than Abrasive.

 

there's a really captivating thread on the release and subsequent opinions of that beer. totally worth reading through all 12 pages.

 

It'll get here when it gets here. Curious to how it compares to drinking it on tap. Wish GF would start canning so we could get some FRESH Alpine IPA's out here.

 

Keyport Liquor in Superior has Alpine/GF beers on right now. Considering taking a ride up today for a few growler fills. Duet and Hoppy birthday from Alpine.

 

Dexters in Madison has Alpine Duet on tap which surprised me.

 

Duet and Hoppy Birthday have been on at Blue Moon, HopCat, Brasserie V, and probably other places recently.

 

Side Door and Waypoint as well.

 

Alpine kegs have been all over the Milwaukee area for the last 2-3 weeks as well.

 

Tipsy Cow and Paul's Club have had Alpine/Green Flash events recently as well. /piling on

Least you only have 7 days. Us FIBs have 14 days of filler apparently.

 

I just put 2 and 2 together (it takes me awhile) and realized that this is supposed to release in Chicago the week of the 17th and that's when I'm on vacation up in the Traverse City area.

If any generous folks in the city are willing to grab an extra pack of this while I'm out of town, send me a PM. I'll have access to some MI-only brews while on vacation that week if you're interested.

 

I see it hit IA today.

 

Any in WI, MKE yet guys? Hoping to imbibe some with my cousin before Ren Fair this Saturday.

It's also hit Cassnova's in Hudson, WI today, so the rest of WI should be seeing it very soon I'd think.
