Anyone know of any coaches tours being organised besides the HORAL ones?

I know there are several other brewers open that weekend that aren't taking part (e.g. Girardin and Drei Fonteinen.

As already noted the best selection of coaches have been booked now or close to and we'd like to get around most if not all of them.

Girardin is never open to the public past the shop to get bottles.

This one, though it's a full tour.
Also, a copy of LambicLand is essential for all planning to go. RIP Podge.

    I'm going as well.
Probably by bicycle if the weather is fine.

No rule against that. i made that my first stop one year to please a visitor who likes their sweet stuff, and it was an excellent atmosphere, nicely evocative brewery to visit, and plenty of legit stuff.

Read a long but interesting interview with Pierre Tilquin on the drinkbelgianbeer.com site. What he said about the Toer is very exciting. Fingers crossed for the gueuze magnums.

“During Toer de Geuze, the new batches of the following beers will be released : Gueuze Tilquin à l’ancienne, Quetsche Tilquin à l’ancienne, Mûre Tilquin à l’ancienne, Gueuze Tilquin – Draft Version, Quetsche Tilquin – Draft Version and Mûre Tilquin – Draft Version. As usual, there will be a free glass of lambic for each visitor making the guided tour. Most probably, I will also serve some experimental fruit beers on draft.”

He added: “If I have time to make the label and the carton box, I will release on the occasion of Toer de Geuze, a magnum of Gueuze Tilquin à l’ancienne (1,5L), aged 1 year in the bottle. Sold at one bottle per person.”

Plus, at the 2017 TdG, they let visitors blend and bottle their own geuze. Pretty cool concept. Hope they do that again this year.

So I have planned a little stopover in Brussels on my way to a work trip elsewhere. It appears I have lucked into the Toer as a result. Does anyone have any private guides to recommend in the Brussels area? I am going to have the better part of Sunday before I get to the airport so unfortunately, the HORAL bus is not an option for me. I would love to see a couple of spots though so I'm hopeful I can jerry-rig something. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
