Toledo area BAs: next tasting

    It's about time we had another. We need to pick a weekend sometime in mid-November. Some of us were thinking along the lines of winter beers, fresh hop included. The place is still TBD; we just need to get it out there. If you know someone who would want to make it who doesn't live in Toledo, let them know. Anyone who wants to come is invited.

    1st Saturday is out for me. Friday the 9th or Saturday the 10th would be my first choices.

    That actually makes me wonder: do Saturdays work for people? We used to only be able to do Fridays because of Matt's schedule down at the B&WC.

    I might make it to this one, its been a while for me...

    I can only do Fridays and not the weekend of the 17th because I will be at the founders anniversary party. It is also likely if I go that I will bring something dark and evil to stain everyone's glasses.

    Sorry to barge in on you guys, but I am meeting up with some family from Toledo this weekend in MI. They enjoy good beer, but don't really know that much about it. We are doing a trade and I was wondering what they might be able to get for me from the Toledo area that I wouldn't have access to in IN/MI and vice versa. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

    Saturdays are usually better for me than Fridays, but I'm good with either.

    @gratefulbeerhead Fathead's Headhunter is great if you can find it. We also get some PA breweries that you might not get like Troegs, Victory, Weyerbacher. Hard to keep up with what's available anymore.

    Good choices and Weyerbacher in particular has several to choose from in Toledo.

    I'm good with the 10th if Saturdays are good for everyone. Thanksgiving weekend is a possibility as well. (it could be a good break from holiday/black friday madness or could be a mess)

    I was assuming people would be unavailable Thanksgiving weekend. If not, it works. Otherwise, is the first weekend in December bad?

    Hey, if you guys are gonna do it on the 10th, we're planning a trip to Columbus on the 9th, maybe bring a growler of Bohdi.

    Here's what we have so far:
    -The weekends of Nov. 9th-10th and Nov. 16th-17th are out
    -The Friday after Thanksgiving is uncertain
    -Saturdays don't work for Rohan, who hasn't been able to make the last few tastings
    That's what we have to work with so far.
