I'm going to be in SE MI next week. I think I'll have time for a run to the Ohio border. I found Marino's in Sylvania that sounds pretty good.
    Any others?
Any border dwellers know what's available in OH, but not MI? What should I look for?

Troegs comes to mind. I was just in Toledo for Easter, and picked up some nugget nectar at Corks in Perrysburg. If you go there you can also hit Aficionado in the same town. Neither one of these are huge, but you can usually find something pretty good.

Be careful at Marino's. They have a fairly large selection but not too much turnover so be sure to check expiration/best by dates. Josephs Beverage and The Anderson's are good as well and not more than a 5 minute drive from Marino's.

Multiple Anderson's stores (Talmadge & the Sylvania store are closest to the border) Marino's and Joseph's both have large selections, but as stated above check dates when possible) My other goto store is the Beer & Wine cave. It's a little further away, and doesn't have as massive a selection, but does a good job of having quality selections.

Agree with everything thus far. Go to The Andersons and Marino's for sure. You can be safe with dates at The Andersons, as they really keep up and know how to care for their stock. Marino's will likely have a few rarities you won't find elsewhere. I won't beat a dead horse with the dating issue, but I will say it's true. If anything, there's also a chance something odd might pop up at the Beer and Wine Cave, but it'll be worth it if you just get a chance to talk to Matt. I typically don't go to Joseph's much anymore, but I can't say there's any reason not to stop in and check it out.
Also, if you end up wanting to check out more than just bottle shops, I'd suggest The Attic and that you swing by Maumee Bay.

Yes you have to stop at Maumee Bay Brewing. One of my favorites to go to when I am back up around home. Great food and great beer!

As far as stuff in OH that is not in MI, I usually find Troegs, Green Flash, Kentucky Ale (Alltech), Stillwater, Yeungling (not that its a big deal at all) and some of the Stone collab brews that don't come up here for some reason.
As far as shops, I am usually limited on time and just stick to The Andersons. I have been to 2 of them and both were excellent.
Side note, do you have MI stops planned?

Thanks everyone. Sounds like Andersons first and Marino's if I have the time. The wife likes Yeungling, so if she gets her case, maybe she won't notice the rest of the trunk filling up.
We're planning on going to Original Gravity in Milan. That's what made be think of Ohio, it's only another 30 miles or so to the border from there.
We've been to every brewery in AA (I think) and most of the places in the north of Detroit 'burbs. We're getting to the limits of easy day trips, at least the ones that involve lots of beer.
