i am driving from NY to Minnesota to drop my son off at school and then driving myself back. Toledo seems like the mid point for me to stop for the night.

Any beer places i should check out for both, drinking, and stores to buy to take home some Three FLoyds,, if you get it there.

Any decent, inexpensive hotels that i can spend the night. You can beermail me this info so we leave more space here for beer talk.

If you're looking for Three Floyds, your best bet will be stop by the brewery in Munster. It's not too far from the interstate, and you can just pick up bottles if you're in a hurry.

Birchholz is correct. If you want 3F's then you should go to 3F's but if you are set on stopping in Toledo you should go for dinner and beers at Maumee Bay Brewing, http://oh-maumeebaybrewingco.com/, awesome food and really damn fine beer.

I would suck it up and spend the night in Cleveland if beer is of importance. But if you would rather save the 1 1/2 of driving, check out Maumee Bay Brewing.

This trip is like the cannonball run, NY to Cleveland for baseball, Cleveland to Minneapolis, a day in Minneapolis, then Minny to Toledo and then to NY.Only stopping in Toledo on the way home because it is my understanding that its 10 hous to Minny and 10 hours to NY.

Coming in to watch the Yankees? It is the perfect time, the Tribe has sucked since the All-Star Break.

That sounds about right, but you may make it to/from Minneapolis in under 10 hours. The best places by Jacob's Field(Yea, that's right) are The Winking Lizard and City Tap, they are within 1 min walking of each other(5 min from the ballpark). Great Lakes also runs a shuttle back and forth.

You probably already knew this stuff, but figured to let you know JIC. Cheers!

Swig, in Perrysburg (close to the highway) has a good combination of beer and food (house-cured sausages!), and the prices are good too. There are also a bunch of hotels around there, although I can't speak to any specifically. If you're looking for bottles, The Anderson's (there are a few of them, closest is ~10 minutes) always has a good selection.
