For only a one day non-overnight trip to Toledo, which:

    1. Which bottle stores do you recommend?

    2. Other than Maumee BC, what other places do you recommend?

    Thanks!

Joseph's Beverage and Marino's are your best bet for bottle shops now that The Anderson's have all closed.

Unrelated note: Watch your speed in Toledo. Police are using cameras to catch people speeding. You do not get pulled over, just a letter in the mail with a ticket.

Holloway Beverage Center is also another recommended shop.

As far as breweries, Maumee Bay is nice but my favorite is Black Cloister, some good belgian brews and they have an award winning helles lager, great guest list too. Only been to Earnest Brew Works once but liked what I had from their flight & seem to recall 8-10 of their brews going on at the time.

Hard to argue with the above choices.
If you don't just want local beers, there are a few good beer bars/eateries as well:
    - The Attic is on Adams St. in downtown Toledo
    - Barr's Public House is on the city's west side right off 475. Good gastropub (plus nearby is Earnest and Black Frog Brewing)
    - Up the road from Earnest is Doc Watson's in South Toledo. If you go, try the Hot Cold Dip.
    - In Perrysburg (10-minute drive south of downtown Toledo) there is Swig's (homemade sausage/dogs and a great beer menu) or 5th St. Pub (wood-fired pizzas with fast rotating tap menu) & a bottle shop to check out would be Cork's.
