I’ve noticed that Freshies tends to hold up better than Fuego. In my opinion at least. Not sure if it’s the abv, malts or hops used but it’s just something I’ve noticed. Cheers.

Something interesting about Freshies that may be particular to me: I like it much more from a can than draft. I can’t think of another beer off the top of my head that I prefer packaged to draft but for some reason I find Freshies much better packaged.

I totally agree with you. I’d even take it a step further than it’s really great directly from the can. It’s nice poured into a glass too of course but damn they do go down smooth straight from the can. It’s also pretty cool to know that they use a good portion of NJ sourced malted wheat for Freshies (per their old Instagram post).

100%. One of the reasons Freshies always accompanied me to the golf course (along with Boat)

got some powder daze and new can art improv.. preferred the improv... nothing wrong with powder daze but i think the simcoe kind of steals some of the mosaic's thunder... rather powder daze be all mosaic or they do a monotone mosaic but dipa not a single

Fuego is starting to make its way into Philly ....

EDIT: Instagram embedding isn't working again, so here's a quote from the post:

Hah! Classic. I had one last night too. damn it’s a nice beverage. Dangerous @ 8% too, drinks like a regular IPA. If they can keep it at this level consistently it’ll be up there with some of the best in the state, and that says a lot.

People in the Instagram comments keep asking about other hops for some reason but I love me some simcoe. “What about Hallertau Blanc?” Pshhhhhhhh

Oh yea also, definitely gonna have some of this if I can. Their regular Baltic porter is killer enough as it is...

Anyone seeing their stuff in Union County or parts North, or perhaps even in Middlesex county?

Somewhere above I posted about seeing some in Bottle King in Chatham by Twin Elephant. Haven’t seen their stuff anywhere else

Bottle King In Livingston has a bunch of their cans, Freshies, Fuego and Improv currently to name a few. Like Icarus, they're doing a good job of spreading their stuff around in distribution.

    I missed that.

Thanks I’ll check it out next time I’m up there.

Actually heading up to Summit later this morning but I have no business buying beer right now given my current supply.

We’ll see how disciplined I can be.

I’m in the opposite position. My beer fridge is almost empty which means it’s time to fill it up! But even when it’s full I can’t always resist buying more.

Improv is tasting so good right now! Hoping to stop in on Tuesday for some of the Mono Tone Simcoe and to try the Retro Mark.

Heads up to all you IPA and/or Phish fans out there...Rift can release tomorrow

$14 price point needs to be commended by the way. Most places would charge ~$18 for a beer of this quality
