Tongue Tickles

Whole Foods in Pasadena still had a good six on the shelf as of an hour ago. Down from about 12 or so when I checked last Wednesday.

I guess the hype train hasn't passed that part of town year. Likewise, Ramirez Pico location had at least a case in the back and 3 on the shelf last tuesday.

Great stuff.

 

Any place in or near Irvine has this left? I will be in town Thurs 12/5 and would like to pick up a bottle or two.

Its a day trip with a flight out of SNA at 5:30pm so won't have enough time to stop by tasting room.

 

Check whole foods in Tustin or Vendome in Fullerton. Cheers!

 

Check oc wine mart . About 2 blocks from sna. Or hi times in costa mesa. About a 10 min drive from the airport

Unfortunately, OC Wine Mart is a no-go on this one...

 

Damn. Wasnt sure but they were right next to the airport so it was worth a shot. They get decent distribution. Thought it could work out

 

So after reading this thread I had a chance to check out Noble over the Thanksgiving holiday. They were out of Tongue Tickles but I thought their regular IPA, Whip It I think, was pretty enjoyable.

 

You should seek out Naughty Sauce. I think 38 Degrees is having a tap takeover on the 13th. So well worth it. That beer is delicious.

 

Tustin Whole Foods also a no-go right now. They might get some in Thursday though. I'll check in then and try to report back.

 

You misunderstood, that price includes the fill. The empty glass is something like $3/$5 for the empty.

 

Their regular IPA is Big Whig and its very very good too.

I really liked my tap pour but found something funky going on with the bomber. Anyone else have both and notice this?

 

This stuff is good, but the draft is much nicer.

 

I think from bottle you are getting a big hit of Galaxy and Simcoe which can create the "funk" you are referring to. I have yet to have it from tap, I have had three bottles so far with six left for expierimenting,however it looks like this Thursday I will finally get some from tap along with Naughty Sauce. All in all I think this is one of the most exciting releases this year and one of the best DIPA being made in So Cal for my tastes.
