That's why I didn't post it a while back. I didn't really take much offense to it. What's happened recently made me wonder, but yeah...

Yeah, I don't think Amanda meant anything by that, though it could have been worded differently. She's always been nothing but nice to us, and very helpful as well.

I know Berry Bewitching is released tomorrow, Plum too? Be nice to kill 2 birds.

Berry Bewitching is waxed so it's legit.

Having Plum a couple weekends ago it wasn't quite ready.

I would guess next week, but likely be on this weekend to try prior to the bottles going on sale.

So many releases to keep track of but I don't believe Plum has been bottled yet.

Couldn't you make that same conclusion about Sante Adairius though and that doesn't stop people from going there? 1-2 beers available for growler fills (and normally not the sought after ones). Maybe a chance for bottles (though that's getting better). I'm obviously not comparing them on quality at this point in time, but it's not that far off with Sante Adairius 10 months in to Toolbox 10 months in.

After all the chatter yesterday, I put one of my Woodwerx bottles back in the fridge and cracked it last night. All of the weirdness I had on tap is gone. I got some good oak barrel flavor, but no more burnt sugar/butter. It's tasting more like what I was expecting from this beer.

I think I'll let the other two sit for a while longer, but I'm definitely not trading these things off or considering them a waste. It's drinkable! haha

At least this way if they end up not liking the idea they have at least tried it.

Next time push for trading bits o string for bottles. I would be curious to see if that would fly with them. =P

That I think is the biggest concern with doing a split like this, since there really is nothing stopping ppl from double-dipping. Of course not like I couldn't go day after day to get 2 bottles each time over a weekend.

Yet again, no perfect way to release beer bottles and someone will always be upset or "think of a new and better way!"

"I didn't get bottles- so pissed! What were they thinking doing Brown Paper Tickets AND the tasting room?! This should have been released at a secret location, with directions found from solving a complex cryptogram posted on social media the day of the release. Did I mention I didn't get bottles? Reddickulous!"
