With the expanded tasting room you will be fine, but probably a steady flow of 20-30 people all weekend sitting around.

Picked up my bottles yesterday about 5:00pm and there was literally me and one other guy in there. Had Peachin Camaro on tap and it was solid. I thought The Carlton was even better. Both are really good IMO.

Ok. He made it sound dead?
I'm not familiar with their limits or production...but sounds like < 200 bottles or so??
I'm only asking bec I was going to trade some JK for this stuff, but now it sounds like that's not happening.

@Persdawg , the bottles sold out online on bpt. I believe Peachin Camaro was close to 500 bottles and Woodwerx closer to 800. Give or take.

ah. online. makes too much sense to do that here.
What's the bottle limit? 5 per ip address?

3 bottle limit on woodwerX, and 2 bottle limit on Peachin' Camaro.

I was only saying yesterday was dead because someone had asked how busy they thought it would be for a bottle release. I just went back and saw he asked about the weekend though, so my apologies.

It wasn't overly busy for Virgin Cherry and now the tasting room is twice as big with no hard time limit to pick up bottles so I don't think it will be too bad.

Thanks for chiming in. I've been there on a regular Saturday, and it was only me and my wife and two other small groups in there. I'm only there for the day, so I'm just trying to plan ahead. I hope Peachin' Camaro is still on draft!

Peachin' was still on draft last night. It is not a good beer at all, so it should stay on draft for a while. It is not as bad as Woodwerx, which is an absolute buttery mess. It has been a long time since I had a beer with so much diacetyl. Peachin has no peach flavor and tastes more like a bad can of Tecate. I feel ripped off and this guarantees I won't be buying any other online releases from here.

Wow, I thought it had plenty of peach flavor when I tried it yesterday on draft. I don't know if it was a different keg or just different strokes, but I thought it was solid. Woodwerx did have a bit of diacetyl (admittedly, I'm not as sensitive to it as others so I'm not going to try to assess how much) but the Brett character was dominant to me. If nothing else, Brett should clean it up given time.

For what it's worth, I've found their beers to be hit and miss on tap but have quite enjoyed bottles so far. I think Woodwerx is going to be polarizing for reasons entirely unrelated to diacetyl, but I'd be surprised if PC doesn't have plenty of fruit character in bottles.

Peachin' had lots of peach flavor on draft when I picked up bottles on Thursday. Weird.

Meh, he'll trade it for another Whale that he likes, and everybody will be happy.

Just stopped at Toolbox and had Peachin Camaro, Woodwerx, and Carlton. My friends and I loved peachin, we thought it tasted similar to Tart X w/Apricots (which we also loved). The Carlton was slightly disappointing as cause we thought the fruit taste was "off." Don't know how better to describe it. As for the Woodwerx...lets just say I hope the bottles are different...

I was let down by Peachin Camaro. I had high hopes for it. It just wasn't good. Not much peach smell. I liked Hand full of Peter more.

Draft beer is almost always way too cold to drink these type of beers. Let them warm up to around 50F and the aroma and flavor will start to pop more.

Sit on your bottles of WoodwerX at this time. Bit of something going on that the Brett needs to clean up (which it will just give it some time).

By the look of your ratings, you get a lot of beers that are uniquely infected and terrible exclusively to you. Sorry that Peachin Camaro wasn't nearly as good as Budweiser 55 Select, which you rated just 1.55 points lower than Veritas 008. Please don't buy any more. Leave them for the rest of us.
