    With a name like that it sounds like it was dead on arrival.

    Any IPA has a much shorter life than most beers. Drink as fresh as possible, and I wouldn't drink an IPA over 60 days old. Some would say 30 days is their limit, and some drink from the tap. YMMV.

    What's the date on it? If no date then I'd be leery.

    With those milkshakes, if it makes it into a can, it's out of date.

    :thinking_face: See, I disagree and feel the exact opposite is true.

    The actual shelf-life is "infinite" --- it just should never leave the shelf, be purchased and consumed. :grin:

    Maybe its because Im not much of an IPA guy but thats not a bad beer. The lactose and strawberry work well with the hoppy backend. I could knock back a few any day of the week. Best fresh from the tap but if coming from a can, I like it well refrigerated and drank within about 60 days.

    My impression of half the people on beeradvocate:

    Fruit in IPAs: :nauseated_face::nauseated_face::nauseated_face::nauseated_face::nauseated_face::nauseated_face::nauseated_face:
    Fruit in Sours::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

    Agreed.

    If the hops taste fruity: Delicious IPA, bro
    If there's actual fruit in the beer: You're f*cking disgusting

    It's more like if you really have a need to fruit something up, a sour is the way to go. :wink:

    Why is this in the cellaring forum? This belongs in “beer talk” or some other silly place :wink:. Canned IPA shelf life? That’s like asking how many Big Macs you can eat per day to stay alive- why? It’s going to taste less whatever-adjunct-fad-flavor-we-added-for-marketing and more beer-you-don’t-want-to-taste-so-let’s-add-adjuncts the older it gets. How long this takes depends, but I wouldn’t expect anything stellar after a month, less so at 6.
