I have a "top tier" of 11 DIPAs- I gave all a rating between 4.5-4.6 so they are all close for me. These aren't in order by rating. I think Captain Lawrence's DIPA is horribly underrated and top notch.

I've only had permanent funeral and ruinten 1 time-but thought they were both amazing. The Permanent Funeral was at FFF last year and side by side with zombie dust, dreadnaught, war mullet, and arctic panzer wolf- and was by far the best hoppy beer in their lineup.

I hope 3F comes back out with Live a Rich Life; that was, bar none, the best Belgian DIPA of all time!

All the rest are a blur.

 

I'd say 8% draws a better line. The only one below 8% considered an imperial I can think of is Sucks and that is just a hair below.

 

I have not had a chance to have any Pliny or the Stone Enjoy By or Lagunitas Sucks. These aren't available in Canada. I agree with Stone Ruination which happily is recently available in my area in Canada. On a trip down south I had Firestone Double Jack and loved it.

I think Odell Myrcenary should be on the list. It's outstanding.
