Top 250 ranking on beer page

Second this that's a really cool feature

 

Not to speak for Todd, but that sounds like a database-heavy operation that's unlikely to be implemented (and I'm guessing how things work on the back end). Even if it would be useful.

 

Then add a note if the beer ever made it to top 250. That way it wouldn't need to constantly send requests to the database. It would be a one and done. I like this idea OP.

 

I'd like to see all the lists a beer has made it on to listed on the beers profile page, not sure how much work that would be though.

 

When looking at a beer's page, to be able to see where or if it is ranked on either the Top 250 or Beer of Fame list - an icon perhaps, or the actual current ranking? Maybe in the BA Score box...

Similar to IMDb, if a beer is in the top 250, I think it makes sense to mention that somewhere on the beer's profile page.

 

I suggested this, too, and it's come up before that, too, apparently. I'd like to see top beers tagged as such on their profile pages.

 

I'd prefer seeing Beers of Fame and PA ranks on the beer page.

 

I would love to see this I would also want to see its rating in the top 100 for the style.

 

Is it possible to tell what a beer's current ranking is on the BA 250 list just by searching the beer? I can't seem to find it. I currently scroll through the list periodically to see how things are changing. And what I may want to add to my "wish list".
Mods: if it isn't available, is that something that could be added to a beer's profile next to the statistics section?

As far as I know the only way to see the beer's current ranking it to click on the Top 250 list.

I don't think that adding the ranking to the beer's profile will be anything more than a giant pain in the ass because the list changes literally ever hour.

 

...that would be nice though just as an added feature. Similarly to what imdb does
