Top 3 (going off my ratings):
    1. Belgian Strong Pale Ale
    2. Quadrupel
    3. American IPA

Bottom 3 (not going off my ratings here which are skewed due to an infected Pilsner):
    1. American Adjunct Lager
    2. Light Lager
    3. Euro Pale Lager

I could live with drinking only the top 3 styles if I needed to - they cover a decent enough gamut of the beer spectrum.

    top 3
    -lambic/fruit sour
-belgian abbey ales, probably tripel if narrowing it to one
-tough to choose between ipa and stout, i drink ipas with much more regularity but the potential of a high end "once in a lifetime" stout is tough to compete with, so I suppose I give stouts the nod

    bottom 3
    aal
    shock top style wheat beers
hard sodas (some of those are considered beers right?)

as far as more respectable styles that I won't rule out drinking, wits are probably my least favorite. don't necessarily hate the style, I just rarely find one I truly enjoy, especially without blurring the style. hefeweizen isn't a favorite of mine but only due to the multitude of horrible examples out there. live oak hefe is one of my absolute favorite beers, and I love a few Bavarian hefes, but most American brewers absolutely butcher them.

Yeah, it looks odd, but I can see where you're coming from. An out of balance overly hopped beer can be a bit offputting, and IPA/DIPA is my favorite style. I've still had some that sucked. (Think Watermelon Dorado or Pineapple Sculpin).

Some day they will come out with an Imperial stout aged in Spam cans and you will be torn by the conflict.
