    For me:
    DRIPA at the top
    Followed by Hopslam
Rest of the pack: Two Hearted, Oracle, Big Doedish, Freedom of '78, Hopstache, and Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster

I know it's subjective, but I don't see how you can throw Mosaic Promise and Hopslam out as the only 2 good IPA's in MI and ignore Two Hearted which is one of the best rated IPA's in all of beer, let alone specifically Michigan.

Elaborate on why you think that, please.

I've got a buddy that likes both Mosaic Promise and Hopslam, but doesn't care for Two Hearted. I haven't asked him for details as to why, but that's his opinion. Like you said, it's subjective. Ask enough people and you'll get different opinions on all of these beers.

Among Bell's best, it doesn't get any better than Hopsoulution for me.

Sure, west coast and east coast are crushing the Midwest IN MY OPINION (this is an opinion thread after all). People go on this site to read opinions of others, and some don't seem to like my opinion and so they become insecure, especially when that opinion pertains to their beloved region. Midwest is my beloved region as well. I lived in Michigan for 5 years and Illinois for 9. I've got best friends in MI who complain all the time about the beer scene compared to the other two coasts. They're correct. To pretend that Michigan is on the same level as east coast and west coast is flat out denial. I don't like a third Michigan IPA much. Hopslam and Mosaic Promise is the only thing that comes to mind for me. Sorry everyone is so butthurt about my opinion.

I've decided to do an (unofficial) tally of the results thus far. This is all dependent upon my math, but here is what I show as the top vote-getters (only listing those with 3 or more votes):

    Hopslam (27 votes)
    DRIPA (20)
    Two Hearted (15)
    Double Crooked Tree (10)
    Rez Gets Smashed (6)
    Superfluid (6)
    I Want My HTV (6)
    Sticky Icky Icky (4)
    Hopstache (4)
    Huma Lupa Licious (4)
    All Day (4)
    51K (3)
    Harvest Ale (3)
    Oracle (3)
    Goodnight Bodacious (3)
    Mosaic Promise (3)
    Freedom of '78 (3)

I think this may have me re-visit some (DRIPA, Double Crooked Tree) to see if I mis-judged them, as I was never impressed by them. And, I really need to stop in to Witch's Hat next time I'm in the area and hope to try a Rez Gets Smashed.

It's thread's like these where I wish we had BA average ratings over time, or access to the raw rating + date data.

A simple moving average graph of beers like Hopslam and Two Hearted in the past 3 years might say a lot.

Hopslam holds a 4.45 average rating overall.
This year it has 43 ratings, combining for a 4.38.

That's not enough data to make any real conclusions, except for how fucking bored I am this evening.

Hard to stop at three, but here goes.

    Double Crooked.
    SuperFluid
    Oracle

Wish there was more availability of these. Is twice a year too much to ask?
