Number 3 could be argued with a few others (heady, perhaps sucks, and though technically apa's, pseudo sue and zombie dust), but 1 and 2 are very concrete for me.

Just read the OP..

I did the Pliny/Heady/Random IPA (which ended up being Dirt Wolf) head to head challenge a few months ago.. Had my wife pour a glass of Pliny, a glass of Heady, and a glass of a "random IPA" from the fridge. Among her "random IPA" choices were Jai Alai, Sculpin, Sea Hag, Gandhi Bot, Columbus IPA, White Rajah, and Swamis. First pour was a blind taste test in opaque glasses as not to give away the Heady. And the next was a standard head to head in taster glasses.



Both times I had it.
