Just want to mention that fat heads is brewed in Ohio, the original is the one on Carson st in Pitt but the actual brew pup and production facility was technically franchised from the one in Pitt. But regardless of the semantics, those guys make seriously great beers. Bone Head Red is better than Nugget Nectar (the latest batch without the Rye, not the ones before with the Rye)

I thought the opposite, but then again DirtWolf is just about perfection to me, I love the flavor, goes down nice and smooth and it's fairly suitable year round. Hop Ranch is still a very solid offering though, don't get me wrong

Anyway, I will have to put my top 3 as DirtWolf, the last Stone Enjoy By (I think it was 4.20.14, was much better than most of the Enjoy By's I have had) and Ballast Point's Sculpin IPA at the moment. But next week I may go out and get something, either something new or something I haven't had in a while, and that may change.

Thing is, there are so many great IPAs out there (my favorite style) that if I was stuck on an island and could pick only three, that would be a sad day for me. Someone else may pick three completely different brews, all of which may be fantastic as well.

I have had all three of those, and they are all incredibly good. I refuse to try to narrow down my list to the "top X" but I'll mention some that I'll drink at the drop of a hat in no particular order (also including DIPAs and very hoppy APAs).

You can absolutely use this as a "To Do List". These are all fairly easy to come by (some are tough to find/seasonal, but I've ticked them all within the last year so it's doable), at least within their distribution area (ie can do a local for local trade with ease), with the biggest exceptions being PtY (huge pain in the ass to get) and Tired Hands (local only)

    Russian River Pliny the Elder
    The Alchemist Heady Topper
    Victory Dirt Wolf
    Bell's Hopslam
    Ballast Point Sculpin
Troegs Nugget Nectar (it's an IPA, shut up)
    Toppling Goliath Psuedo Sue
    Sixpoint Hi-Res
    Lagunitas Lagunitas Sucks
    Avery Maharaja
    Dogfish Head 120 Minute
    Alpine Duet
    Three Floyds Alpha King
    Nebco Gandhi Bot
DC Brau On the Wings of Armageddon
    Stone Ruinten
    Stone Enjoy By
    Ithaca Flower Power
    Great Lakes Chillwave
    Cigar City Jai Alai
    Bell's Two Hearted
Firestone Walker Wookie Jack (Black and Rye, but still damn good)
    Russian River Blind Pig
    Russian River Row 2/Hill 56
Russian River Pliny the Younger (not worth the hype, but that doesn't make it not good)
Anything from Tired Hands (I've had a half dozen of their IPAs and every one so far was incredible)
edit: left off Fat Head's Head Hunter (and probably a number of others)

    3- Heady Topper

But Dinner after 2 different sessions has taken over the top spot for me.
