Alpine Exponential Hoppiness probably qualifies and it's the best one I've had by far.

Yep. Most "TIPAs" are much more malty than DIPAs, which I happen to enjoy...

    Devil Dancer
    Hopsickle
    Hi-Res
    Green Bullett

Will be getting onto Hopsolutely, as it's local to me...

I think these should have some age on them, as they are more like barley wines. I would love to try Devil Dancer with two years on it.

It might as well be barleywine as the hops would be long gone.

You didn't miss out on much with the Troegs... I wanted to love it but much like a lot of their stuff I'm just not all that impressed most of the time.

Out of all the brews you stated, Hi-Res dominated in overall enjoyment factor (for me anyway). But I really dug Green Bullet's aroma.

Respectfully, I think nope. It's way too subjective to determine if one beer is malty/hoppy/balanced enough to be called one thing or another. There is way too much of that already in my opinion. But call it whatever you want as long as you enjoy drinking it.

So, does this mean beers like DFH 90 minute are TIPAs?
