Thanks for all the tips... We just got back from four days and had an awesome time. I should have mentioned that I had a 5 and 8 year old in tow... That being said, I was able to hit most of the places you guys mentioned. Green Man was awesome. Wedge was ok, but very anti-kid. We were able to get down to Brevard and hit Oskar Blues, which was also very cool.

    Other breweries we hit:

LAB (thought the food was good; beer ok)
Wicked Weed (just the upstairs for dinner); really good food
Ashville Brewing Company - pizza was good... beer was ok...

Also hit Bruisin Ales and bought a good selection of bottles to take home.

For food, (other then the brewpubs), we hit some really three really good spots:

Luella's BBQ - I thought it was awesome
White Duck Tacos - Incredible. I went for seconds because they were that good
Early Girl - Good breakfast, not as awesome as the reviews, but solid.
Potato Chip place - nothing special...

Anyway - thanks for all the tips guys!

No worries - I would appreciate it if you wrote reviews for the places (and specifically mentioned whether the places were kid friendly or not)... I often read through the reviews of places before I head to different cities and use that information to help decide between places to visit.

<On my Soapbox>The places reviews/ratings are only good if people write them, especially after asking in the forums for recommendations.</On my Soapbox>
