Can't believe that Olde Hickory's blendiculious hasn't been mentioned. Belongs right up there with the best of them. Sooooooo good! Can't wait for omega point.

I found a bottle of Mirror Mirror at the local Total Wine, now I'm really eager to try it after seeing it on so many folks' top 5. I'll admit barleywine is one of the styles I know the least about.

They have tasted amazing. I had one fresh when it came out on the fourth last year and a few periodically since. There is still a shop near me with some left over. I'll check this long weekend, I can send you a few if they're still there.

 

Hopefully they do it right this time. Tasted like band-aids.

Rushing Ducks dogs bullocks is very good but I think its only 25% barrel aged but still a very good English bw try it if you see it

Heirloom Pumpkin Barleywine - @indian_pale_ale called it - this was a stunner!
Hand & Seal - I liked it so much, it actually bumped Sucaba out of my top 5!
King Henry - the one all the others got compared to, but my palate memory's fading...
Artic Devil - a personal fave
Bourbon County Barleywine - real good, though I've not been as enamored of it as most

Never had Mother of All Storms, but I figure it must be a winner, since it seems to be making most of the lists

Didn't they have peated Scotch barrels in the blend for that one? Not sure what the thinking there was.


Though I still think any barrel-aging treatment for Bigfoot is a mistake.
