2- Belgium (but still way ahead of USA in good beer per inhabitant ratio)
    3- GB
    4- Germany
5- Vacant (seriously, right now there's no other contender in terms of variety and good breweries)

I used to live over there, still have family. I used to love drinking Little Creatures out in Freo.

    1. England (Brown Ale, Porters, Stouts, and Pale Ale that's not hop crazed) - Has Samuel Smiths, Well's & Young's & Fullers.

2.Germany (Weizen in all it's forms, top tier Lagers and Pilsners) - Weihenstephaner alone makes it worth it.

    3. Scotland (Gruit, Scottish Ale and Porters) - Williams Bros, Harviestoun, Belhave and Innis & Gunn

    4. Belgium (The high ABV kings, and home of the Wit) - Trappist Breweries and Duvel

    5. Canada (It's home, and like the country itself, is diverse in it's brewing) - Unibroue, Muskoka

Although Japan had a good chance of making the list, as I've only ever gotten one lemon out of Japan. That being said, Rice Lager isn't for everyone. Also not enough coming over the pond.

I honestly wish I could say the US, but we tend to not get a lot of US craft brew up here in Canada, so it's hard to judge. What craft brew I have had has been very hit and miss. They are also the home of the adjuct lager.

Mexico is too lager focused (and Corona is awful), Irish brew is a bit too heavy for my liking, Czech's are just Pilsner, the rest of Europe just doesn't have enough presence, the Caribbean/South America is mainly tourist Lager and Australia we don't get a lot of up here, but it's also hit and miss (VB and Fosters are both gross). Anywhere else, there's just not enough presence.

Those are the only countries whose beers I have sampled enough of to make an educated decision.
