It was quite good, but a bit rough around the edges. So I am putting a couple in the cellar, hoping that it smooths out a bit.
    Cheers!

    In no special order
    DFH 60 Min IPA
    Stone IPA
    Boston Lager
    SN Pale Ale
    Sarnac Pale Ale

Beer that got me in to craft beer, oddly enough, was homebrewed Summer Ale by Brewer's Best. Needed a hobby, hardly liked beer but desperately needed something to do, tried it, drank the beer, fell in love with brewing and craft beer.

    Prairie - OK-Si
Jester King - Montmorency vs Balatan
Parish Brewing - Ghost in the Machine
    Deschutes - Abyss
The Brew Kettle - White Rajah

+1: Rochester Mill's IPA was probably my first exposure to craft that I actually appreciated. Its a great Michigan beer that often flies under the radar and doesnt get much fan-fare.

Notch The Standard (Double decocted Pils)
    Grey Sail Captain's Daughter
    Timothy Taylor's Landlord

My first legal beer was a Lagunitas IPA. Ahh youth...

I learned at the spry age of 21 that I did not like the corn forward flavors of macro brews. I dabbled in grabbing random bottles for a mix a six, but the real beer that opened my eyes to what good beer could taste like was Old Rasputin.

    1. Tree House Good Morning
    2. Tree House King Julius
    3. Bourbon County Vanilla Rye
    4. Trillium DDH Congress St
    5. Hill Farmstead Double Citra

Quite the IPA heavy list, but living in New England we're bombarded with them here.

  9. ABabbidge

    1. Ayinger Celebrator Dopplebock
    2. Lagunitas Lil Sumpin Sumpin Ale
    3. North Coast Old Rasputin
    4. Boulevard Tank 7
    5. Sierra Nevada Celebation Ale

No plus one for me, Old Raspy got me in to craft, still my favorite Imperial Stout. Although, SN Narwhal is giving Old Raspy a run for my money.

nice! cool that you were able to try it. its hard to come by even living in Colorado. They bottled another barleywine that is still really good- "Release the hounds" but nowhere near as amazing as Royal Oil.

    Prairie Apple Brandy Bomb
    Stone Emperial IPA (14th Anniversary)
FFF Perched Atop the Denim Throne
    Alpine Nelson
(Just off of the top of the dome)

+1 The White Hag Irish IPA (Fleadh Ale). Only available in Ireland. Had it in Dublin. This is the beer that basically got me into homebrewing, craft beer, and eventually landed me in a brewery a few years later. Ironically their brewmaster is an ex-pat from my hometown, too!

    - Pliny
    - Rochefort 10
    - AB Noir

The blame for +1 would probably have to go to Sam Adams

Definitively ranking favorites is impossible for me, so here are five beers I really dig in this moment in time.

    1. Abraxas (2015) - Perennial Artisan Ales
    2. Bomb! - Prairie Artisan Ales
    3. Bourbon County Brand Stout (2016) - Goose Island
    4. Saison du Fermier (Foedre) - Side Project
    5. Zombie Dust - 3 Floyds Brewing Co

And the beer that got me into craft was Bell's Amber Ale in college.

My top five beers is a tough one, but I'll try.
    1. Chocolate Rain, never disappoints
    2. A Night to end all dawns (coconut)
    3. Sosus
    4. Bomb, so consistent
    5. Julius

I have to give equal credit to two beers for getting me into craft beer. The first is Boston Lager and the second is Petes Wicked Ale. Not sure if Petes Wicked Ale is made anymore. First mind blowing beer was Obsidian Stout in 1994, still solid Imo.
