The list you posted had their year-round beers, which are great. But I am just a huge fan of their Smokestack "Specialty" Series (as are others that have posted above)! The 750ml bottles are reasonable priced at $12.99-$13.99 (except for Love Child which is $5-$7 more). And the Bourbon Barrel Quad which comes out in November really is perfect come the Spring for Easter, and the Rye on Rye is always great - but we now have Rye on Rye on Rye coming in March!

Saison brett is my favorit but in no particular order I do enjoy, Aztec chocolate imperial stout, the calling ipa, tank 7, hibiscus gose and love child alot too, among others. They do make some really good beer

Nutcracker is mediocre, but probably the worst Boulevard beer I've ever had, as all of their stuff is well above average. The list is clearly missing Dark Truth stout, one of my go-to RISs.

How are Double Wide and Love Child not on the list?
Excellent brewery, I will try anything they brew

Not my top 5, but a decent list. Mine would be:

    Love Child (any of them)
    Saison Brett
    Funky Pumpkin
    The Calling IPA
    Bourbon Barrel Quad (BBQ)

That's if I HAD to limit it to 5. Love Boulevard.

Well, they got Tank 7 right. Of course that may be their best beer period, so kind of a hard one to miss.

Pale Ale is also fantastic, but not top 5 to me with their great portfolio. I have a hard time narrowing it down to 5, even if I count all the Love Child(ren) as one beer--which they most certainly are not. But here is a list of beers that I would consider in my top five, depending on mood, etc:

Granted, some of these* are currently retired...

    Tank 7
    Rye-on-Rye
    Foeder Projekt #1*
    Saison-Brett
    Love Child
    Two Jokers*
    Imperial Stout
    80-Acre
    Collab No. 2/Reboot*
    Collab No. 3
    Heavy Lifting
    Harvest Dance*
    BBQ
    Pale Ale
    Lemon-Ginger Radler
    Chocolate Ale
    Sixth Glass
    Imperial Stout: Aztec Chocolate*
    Boss Tom's*
    ZŌN*

Yeah I guess you could say I'm a fan.

Overall I think the smokestack series is great stuff.

    Loved BBQ.
I really liked rye on rye, but after aging another bottle about a year, it didn't taste as well. (Or it was just an off night of my palate)

The calling, was fine but not good enough to buy again considering the options I have in so-cal.
The dark truth I enjoyed ( very accurate description of the beer ), but didn't blow away some of the stouts in so-cal.

The imperial Stout with the tart cherries...was the only bottle from them I've been disappointed. I had high expectations. There was so much carbonation, almost like champagne! After warming up for about an hour it taste a little better. I thought it was a bust. Definitely would not buy.

Hope to see more of their types !

Finally got a Saison Brett from my cousin for our family Christmas drawing. Anxious to try it.
Theme this year was buy something that is the same as the first letter of the person's name you drew - my name starts with S, so S is the letter. I got a Saison Brett, Sorry not Sorry, and a Sixth Glass. He did well for an amateur beer drinker.

Boulevard has been turning out some great beers for some time. I honestly think they're super underrated, and typically don't voice my opinion on the matter frequently because they're super accessible to me and I enjoy hording as much as I can.

The list should simply consist of their SmokeStacks - because all BS aside - they're all great. But to narrow it down:

Tank 7 is quite near perfect. Don't know if there's a better big ABV Saison that's readily available.
Imperial Stout (all of them) is spot on.
Rye on Rye is one of the best examples of the style there is. The only one better may be Revolution Ryeway to Heaven.
    Saison Brett is absolutely fantastic.
    Bourbon Barrel Quad is wonderful.

Outside of those Dart Truth, The Calling, 80 Acre are all great.

Also a tenured fan here so i'll weigh in:

    *Tank 7
    *Bourbon Barrel Quad
*Imperial Stout and its variants (I know this is cheating cuz this is like, 5 beers)
    *Rye on Rye
    *Saison Brett

I'll add that I really enjoy Boulevard for a few reasons, but mostly because of all of the variations you can find, the pricepoint, and the quality all around.

I haven't had all those in the article so can't really comment on it, but my top 5 of their beers that I HAVE had are:

    Tank 7
    Sixth Glass
    Rye on Rye
    BBQ
    The Calling

    Runner-up: Love Child series

They're the local brewery. I love them. I haven't tried a lot of their Smokestack yet.

For me in no particular order:
    -Tank 7
-2015 Imperial Stout Coffee Ale (really sad this won't be returning this year; my top 3 beer of all time)
    -Snow n Tell
    -Bob's '47
-Irish Ale (always pick up oodles of this stuff when it's released)

    Having gone to school at Pitt State in Kansas, I've been a Boulevard fan longer than most. Their Smokestack Series is one of the best things to ever happen in the beer world, in my opinion. My favorites in order;

    Bourbon Barrel Quad
    Imperial Stout
    Tank 7
    Rye on Rye
    Sixth Glass

  18. BMBCLT

    BMBCLT Grand Pooh-Bah (3,427) May 9, 2014 South Carolina
    Pooh-Bah

    The Sixth Glass
    Dark Truth Stout
    Long Strange Tripel

I have to disagree about Tank 7. It's way over-hopped for a Saison. Not a fan. Ommegang Hennepin is great though.

    That's it for me!

Coffee Stout is definitely a top 5 beer for me. That thing is amazing. Found it at a local C-store for cost! I need to go back and get more!
