80 Acre gets no love. It's probably my favorite Boulevard beer. I love their Smokestack beers, but I can sit down with a 6pk of 80 Acre any time of the year and be 100% content with life.

I've had their unfiltered wheat and it is really good. I'm going up to KC here in two weeks and am going to tour Boulevard so I'm definitely am going to try their Number 7 and Porter.

I picked up the Great Eight pack, it was fabulous. (2 )Tank 7's, ( 2) imperial stouts, (2) The Callings, and (2) Tell-tale Tarts. And the bottle dating was very legible and easy to read. It's nice when you don't have to hold a bottle up to the light and try to decipher Julian coding or what not.

I don't have an opinion about the top 5 - I just wish they didn't discontinue Double Wide.

Tank 7 and The Calling are probably my favorites. For the money, Tank 7 is a great farmhouse.

Being from Kansas City I have a little bit of a bias towards them but the Tank 7 is a great beer and Dark Truth is my favorite stout of all time.

Turns out I missed one - BBQ. And that, my friends, was my highest rated Boulevard beer.

    From my ratings:
    The Calling
    Collaboration #5
    Imperial Stout
    The Sixth Glass
Double Wide IPA, Tank 7, Silver Anniv, and Bully!Porter (basically a tie - between 3.98 and 4.03)

    Total rated = 12 - Highest Ranking = 4.16 Lowest Rankng = 3.61 Average Rank = 3.94 Blvd is very consistent
    and very good.

Btw - grew up outside of Cooperstown and visited Ommegang for the first time in Nov. Enjoyed it very much.

Bully Porter is underrated, I'd rate it in my top 5 along with 80 Acre, Dark Truth, Single Wide and Zon.

While this top 5 choice for Boulevard beers is probably not one most people who are familar with their line-up would pick, I think that pretty much every beer they brew is of high quality, so I could see easily see many different versions of a top 5 Boulevard beers list. My personal one in no order is:
    1. Saison Brett
    2. Tank 7
    3. 80 Acre
    4. The Calling
    5. BBQ
    6. Imperial Stout
    7. Long Strange Tripel

Yes I know I said this was a Top 5. But I like to go one beyond. And for Boulevard, one beyond one beyond. That's love lol.

Only one on the list I've had is Tank 7 and I do love it. Love Child(s) are good and The Calling.

We, uh ... are all in agreement that Boulevard paid for this article to be written, right? Ranking different styles of beer from a single brewery seems pretty pointless to me...

I miss Two Jokers, very underrated beer in their stacked lineup.

Imperial stout is my favorite. The wheat is my all time favorite warm weather beer with a lemon. Dark truth is super solid. Like the poster above, two jokers is missed. Their regular stout was my favorite domestic version of the dry Irish stout.

Honorable mention: tank 7. Just a bit too hoppy for the style, imo.
