    Remember the wingnuts who took over a wildlife refuge a few years ago? That was right in Steens town. The owners of Steens may, or may not, have agreed with their position.

    They hated, absolutely hated, how it just fucked up their local, rural, economy. Locals couldn't go anywhere cuz shit was on lockdown. Not the "please stay home" type lockdown we're all living with now. Armed lockdown.

    Steens was posting throughout "Hey, we're open, but, can y'all chill? We live here" type stuff.

    They earned much respect, by being calm and reasonable.

    Earns a vote in my eyes.

    Just the Kolsch and IPAs were enough to add Chuckanut and Georgetown to your list? I guess they made quite the impression on you :-)

    Ha - yes. :slight_smile: Part of my rationale is how much thought I would put into purchasing a new (to me) offering from the brewery. Based on my experience I would try whatever they offered regardless of style (same as the other three I listed). The list of breweries I feel that way about isn't too long. :slight_smile:

    No surprise for first, really. I thought Gtown would nail 2nd though. Kinda surprised Stoup only got the 3 points, folks on here seem to like them a lot.
