After a long winter of porters, stouts, quads and the like, spring means one thing to me: IPA season! (Preferrably DIPA, actually.) I'll stick all the wonderful hoppiness I can down my piehole until around Independence Day when the cut-it-with-a-knife humidity hits the midwest.

Apparently it's Dancing Man this year with the early release. Last year it was SN Hoppy lager but still been drinking plenty of the Tropical IPA

I guess pilsners. Oskar Blues Mama's just arrived, same with Lagunitas Pils. So, I'm going to do a little four way blind taste thing tomorrow between those and Nooner and Urquell. See what's what.

double crooked tree, not because it has anything to do with spring, but because it is a delicious kick to the face that happens to be released in the spring

With Spring training in the air and baseball season right around the corner, I gotta go with Alesmith .394 Pale Ale!
