Top Five Coffee Beers

    most all these answers have other flavors and ingredients in addition to coffee, its really hard to pick your top 5 when you arent allowed to include anything but stouts with only coffee

    1. Perennial Sump - easily the best I've had non-BA, I think in March (with close to 200 beers new to me ahead in 2015 based on history) that it could be the best beer new to me I have this year
    1. BCBCS - easily the best I've had BA
    3. Founders Breakfast Stout - I like it better than KBS, maybe because the hype kind of ruined KBS for me
    4. New Glarus Coffee Stout - great coffee-with-a-bit-of-cream flavor
    5. Between Lagunitas Cappucino Stout & their High-Westified Imperial Coffee Stout

    I have the Boulevard Imperial Stout X (Coffee) in the cellar, it could take a 3-5 spot on the list given how good their Smokestack Imperial Stout is.

    I've had allot of the beers mentioned. But for me these two are head and shoulders above the rest.

    I have never rated FBS. I assume it would top my list. I love it long time.

    The three I like the most so far are Victory At Sea, Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout and Santa Fe Imperial Java Stout.

    I haven't had enough of this style of imperial stout, but that being said, earlier today I really enjoyed Cismontane's Black Dawn. Tons of roasted malt and coffee!
