We'll be there. It's not a spectacular festival full of rarities but it's solid nonetheless. This is also one of those festivals where paying a little extra for a VIP ticket makes for a much more enjoyable experience, especially late in the day when it gets REALLY crowded and you can seek refuge on the stage while grabbing some food.

We planned on getting VIP but they are all sold out. I went like 3 or so years ago and it was alright. I just look forward to being in Charlottesville and stopping at beer run also.

BCBS is going to be in VIP this year. Having gone to this event three times (missed last year and will be missing this year), the list is never filled with super rare beers but I've always had a blast. VIP is definitely worth it for the reasons mentioned earlier and the fact that you can hit everything in the normal GA area before everyone else gets in. The last few years, we've ended up hanging out by the Cask Garden and drinking that stuff once everyone gets in and then went back to VIP to hang out and drink those beers.

    We're working the same playbook!
