'Top Reviewers' not sorting properly?

I thought that when you used to sort by 'top reviewers' it sorted based off of the number of beers that user had reviewed (ie, someone who had 3k reviews would have their review higher up on the page than someone with 2k reviews), however, now I'm seeing that's not quite true (or is atleast messed up)? I thought maybe Karma points would maybe be the new sorting, but that is not the case either. When looking at top reviewers the first guy has 5675 beers reviewed (1255 karma), second guy has 4493 (705 karma), third 4397 (760), and so on and so forth. Going further down, however, the 8th reviewer (when sorting by top reviewers) has 3194 beers reviewed (560 karma)...the ninth review though has 3886 beers reviewed and 690 karma. Shouldn't the guy with almost 4K beers reviewed be higher than the one closer to 3K?
