That was what Henry was aiming to do, but us assholes had to go and ruin that.

I can't knock it til I've tried it, but I find it very hard to believe Swordfish is in the convo of the best Black IPAs (errr CDAs) in the country.

This list makes me angry. But...he said it would. This brings up a question I have. He sucks so bad, but why hasn't someone else jerked the PI reins from him. I'm no blogger but there are several out there covering WA beer.

Also, has anyone noticed he said "Old Schoolhouse Brewing is the top-selling Washington brewery for my friends over at LetsPour.com"

Isn't HE the one who runs (or claims to run) LetsPour?

Guys, this is an obvious troll post.

    Three-twenty-nine? Try five-seven-five.

It is giving us all something to talk about. (Click.) Mission accomplished.

That said, list is BS.

Not a very well ranked list IMO, sorry but 7 Seas sucks ass. Fremont is a million times better than 7 Seas ever wished they could be. Not a reliable top 25 IMO, just one persons opinion of top 25. My top 25 would be very different...

I think it has definitely hurt some more local eastern Washington breweries to not have their beers available in the bottle. Based on this list, the author obviously lives in Western Washington and thus has a limited view of beers on this side of the state.

Paradise Creek needs to bottle their Huckleberry Pucker and send that over to Seattle. Absolutely fantastic beer. Had it at the WA Brewer's Festival and then got a growler fill at the Beer Shoppe in Yakima a couple weeks ago. Love that damn beer so much.

Clearly, you are new to the ways of Vinella; his palate is the stuff of legend. He drank every single CDA in existence (in order, mind you) to be able to declare Swordfish the best in the US. His top 20 list actually has 24 breweries because he had to forgo math to make enough room in his brain for all the tasting knowledge.

My entire palette fits on one Vinella tastebud, so who am I to judge?

As much as I like to see discourse in the PNW, these lists are always controversial and subjective. That's not really what this is about though; the circle jerk Vinella bashing is cheap and a bit tiring.
