Have to agree that b4 was the worst.

On a different note, Zeelander is back but..... its in bomber again. WTF TG, where are my god damn zeelander cans? Honestly one of my top 5 beers from them, sad to see it back in a format I wont be searching for.

 

I don't understand the hate for b4. I think it's more the format than the contents inside--lots of folks mad that it was 12oz.

I had worse experiences with 2 and 3 and was calling undeserved hype...4 redeemed MD for me tbh.

 

I loved the smaller format, but I just wasn’t thrilled with the beer.

Tents and chairs placed already but no one actually there, so about 300 people now

 

Line just got longer. KBBS tickets at stout day now.

 

If it’s anything like MD or assassin it’ll only be100. Betting more likely 50

 

Are people going to die in this line trying to get there early enough for the KBBS tickets? As if 3 stouts wasn't enough already...

Just curious, I have a friend coming with me to the release but he wasn't lucky enough to get a ticket, in years past did anyone in the taproom get to try the variants and specially tapped stuff or was it just those with tickets?

 

Usually the term oil variants are for sale for the public and those are the longest lines.

 

Never been to a TG event so would it just be a waste of gas if I were to drive out there the day of to get in line or is there a chance I'd actually get something before they sold out?

 

Talking about this weekend? Sounds like there will be a lot of the horus stout, probably fair amount of MD. Assassin wouldn’t expect more than 100. Barrel slayer probably around 100-200. If going would get there early 7-8 if you want Assassian or barrel slayer. At least 20-30 local vultures will be there very early waiting to get the beer to sell.

 

I'm curious what the final cost will be if you were able to, and willing, to buy the max allotment (whether 1, 2, etc of each) of all the stouts.

 

$306 would be maxing out full allotment plus KBBS ticket, right?

 

120 for 3 stout hawks
100 for 2 MD
50 for assassin
50 for barrel slayer
10 for kbbs ticket
I got 330. Plus if stout hawks doesn’t sell out you can buy more.
