Toppling Goliath (2019)

Unbelievably, KBBS somehow not only lived up to the hype but surpassed it. The pour I had at TG was the most perfectly balanced beer I'd ever tasted and I truly could find no fault.

When I am on my deathbed, I'm going to request a bottle as there's nothing I'd like to taste more at my demise. Hooking it intravenously to my body is also acceptable.

 

Is that DDH King Sue making it's way to Minnesota?

It's a delicious beer, certainly, but surely, there are more "balanced" beers in the world, to your palate or mine.

 

My only qualm with KBBS is it seemed to lack a bit on the barrel. The coffee and maple are just such strong flavors

 

My opinion, the S'mores Term-Oil was the best of the bunch on Saturday.

 

Coconut pecan was my love affair when I had the Terms. Mexican chocolate in second.

Would still take KBBS over anything else.

Also had the Cherry Fandango, and hope by some wild snowball's chance in hell that it eventually winds up in cans!

 

I've said it before and I'll say it again, doing a 50/50 mix with this and PseudoSue or even King Sue is about perfection!

 

Agree KBBS was the best IMO

 

$24 for Dragon cans.

 

That is kinda what I figured based on how they priced growler fills. Great beer, might be worth a four pack on occasion.
