They said there will be a release for this as well with more details next week. So still hope to lose that lottery too

Anyone at TG figure out the price of the Sue 12pks yet? Still considering driving down to try for a KBBS pour.

So sounds like 24.99 at retailers. Was hoping for around 22...

Does anyone know if they are strict about the or window timing? If you had a ticket and it was for another time or even another day... would they care?

All I can tell you is they didn’t care to much at the MD release

Probably. Their taproom is always a couple more bucks plus the can deposit for Iowa.

I picked up a 12er from the brewery today on the way home from my parents who live by decorah and cans were packaged 12/4/20 at 9pm. Can’t get much fresher than that. Tasting great

Not sure about another day but they didn’t care about the time this past weekend. I was late and no one even said anything. Overheard a few people being too early too with same experience. I think they are mostly concerned about making sure people coming to pick up allotments are spread out more than exact time slot. But, I don’t work for TG so I’d call and give them a heads up if you can.

This one will probably be a little different just because this is no proxy and I think they are doing a certain amount per time frame (I could be wrong but that’s they way I read it). For the past 4 releases they’ve done proxies and being as a lot of people are picking up for multiple people makes pick up easier for staff, but if it’s limited per time they’ve been sticklers in the past when they were release parties.

Was looking for the release on Etix because I felt I read it was going to be on that site and found this.

    https://hello.etix.com/client-succe...h-event-lottery-increases-customer-happiness/

    tl;dr

last year (2019) they used etix to produce the lottery for MD release. They had 4000 total slots (meaning they made 8000 bottles of MD) and only 7000 entries.

I’d be interested to see the amount of entered they had this year.

The kc release was anticlimactic. Still weekday spots open

Yeah, I finally got to purchase stout from TG and it feels like I bought something from Amazon except it's not getting delivered.

FWIW, there were over a thousand KBBS 2020 bottles, so there's got to be thousands of KC; will be tough for non-locals to get there on a weekday though - maybe they'll open up and have non-ticketed sales soon, similar to MD 2019.

They’re doing about 60 bottles a day for 11 days so 660 for just this release plus those buying kbbs( usually about 1500 produced) each got a chance to buy 2 so that would mean 3000. Would put production at about 4000 give or take

It's 70 per day but yeah... I was doing that same calculation earlier.

Decorah sure sounds like a great place to spend New Year's Eve!
