    A friend went last year and recommended it. It was a nice fest and San Diego in general was great. The biggest issue I had was the majority of tickets sold were "VIP". I heard estimates around 3/4 of the tickets were VIP.

    Toppling Goliath's twitter feed says, "ASSASSIN 2020 · SAVE THE DATE · 5/2/2020." I have never been there, but am seriously considering making a trip out the for the release. From what I understand this would be a ticketed release. My question is, does this 5/2 date refer to the sale date for tickets, or the release itself? If it is for the release, when might tickets go up for sale/raffle? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    That'll be the date of the bottle release. I expect the announcement of the lottery (assuming that's how they do it) will happen soon.

    *Edit: Lottery was the wrong term. Last year Assassin was to get in a queue on a website at a given time. It looks like Assassin was March 30th and the tickets went on sale on February 19th.
