    Well in to the new year. Apparently to those lucky enough to attend the dinner last night was announced there will be a DB Assassin. Hopefully they bounce back from the down year of 2020 assassin.

    Mug Club members got an e-mail yesterday about opportunity to buy Tequila Assassin between Jan 4 to Jan 14th. $30/bottle, 1pp limit, no proxies. Drive through or through waiter when you arrive. No advance ticket purchase needed.

    Anyone tried Tequila Assassin, and how different from regular Assassin(s)? I’m not a fan of tequila aged beers so I’m highly skeptical of the high score on Untappd.

    Seems to be getting high rankings. But I’m just amazed at the $30 price tag on it considering it’s been with $150 and $200 dollar dinners in which I was figuring cost of the beer was most of that price tag.

    Anyone know why so many stores are selling 4 packs of fire skulls for 8.99? Seems odd to offer such a steep discount

    I just had it and would say it’s worth the $30 but it didn’t necessarily hold up to some of the SP big boys we had it with.

    Apparently, 3 states refused shipment for some reason, so the distro said he'd take it and flood MN if the price was right.

    I need to try DDH King Sue again.

    The only time I've ever had it was late 2019. Had a few bottles and honestly thought regular King Sue was better.

    Does the Decorah taproom have space to have drinks outside in the winter? Do you have to go inside to order or will they come outside?

    Last time I was there their patio was not open but they had tables spread out pretty well inside

    I was just there Saturday. Tables are spread out and they seat you, so you tell them how many and they will escort to your seat. It was crowded and we had to wait but never felt unsafe as there was plenty of space everywhere. There is currently snow on ground and there was nothing outside.
