    TGX was 55 and this is 100. I wouldn’t fret much over missing out on this or trade the ridiculous amount for it

    I hate blue cheese and no substitute. The soup was good. But the lamb and lobster were great the star of the show was dessert though.

    VBA I felt was better as well. Thicker more barrel in assassin. This was a very good beer and it showcased the vanilla Very well. Just not a ton of barrel and despite the description no Chocolate flavor.

    No chocolate w VBA b2? I almost felt like it was like drinking Herseys Syrup w a shot of bourbon. B2 was a bit too sweet I thought but B1 was without question the best stout, if not best beer, I have ever tried.

    I meant no chocolate with shadow raptor, their description was vanilla with chocolate undertones and there wasn’t any there. There was definitely chocolatey goodness with VBA, i didn’t get hersey’s syrup but I’m more of a ghirardelli guy

    Ah my apologies. Miss understood. Have not gotten my bottles of Raptor yet. I do know they spent a lot on the vanilla beans for it.

    They did 5 different from all over the world. The vanilla was done well, just with the name and everything I was looking for some thickness and more barrel. But the barrel was barely there and its really thin. It’s a good beer, but I wouldn’t trade what people are trading for it. I think a lot of the early ratings are people selling and trading and driving the hype up.

    Wow I thought there would be lots of winners posting here this morning. My good TG karma continues..... just wish it didn't mean 10 hours in a car during the winter and a pandemic. For previous years it was always a blast spending the night and bottle sharing at a hotel. Now it is just a long bleak trek, but happy to score the bottles!
