Toppling Goliath (2022)

I've had TO Smores twice. Once on draft and a year later when they bottled it. The bottle I had was magic and while I love actual smores the beers always fall short or are disgustingly sweet/off-putting. The bottle I had was swimming in barrel, toasted marshmallow, Graham, and just straight delicious. A 4.75.

And the draft I had at the brewery a year prior completely missed the mark and was a 3.75 letdown/ weakest of my 3 TO samplings. Never know, maybe I wasn't feeling it or maybe they honed it in by the time they bottled a year later.

Hopefully the magical lightning they put in the bottle strikes twice and lands in these cans for all those that can acquire.

 

Any news on Assassin 2022 lottery?

 

End of April, early May is what i'm hearing. With a release window in late May early June.

 

Got a drop of Term Oil Smores in Minneapolis today ..pounders.

 

We got them in Wichita recently for $20/16oz can. I had to grab a couple, but damn!

 

Yep same price here .. I had to grab one.

 

Any Term Oil S’mores sighting in Illinois yet?

 

It hit shelves on Iowa side of QC last week $24.99 where I saw it.

 

It's likely not coming to IL. Well, TG had mentioned anyway on the FB about a month ago "it doesn't look like it's making it's way to Illinois".

 

I saw it hit the 2, but assumed it hit another that’s craft section was growing pretty well. I live right in-between the two that used to get the all stuff. I haven’t heard or seen if it hit any others.

 

The regular stuff makes it everywhere now, but certain stuff like the holidotz and DDH Sue bottles I only found at the two. I think cans make it everywhere now. So maybe it’s in other stores?

 

It's available in the SE Wisc market. Not sure if the Woodman's in Kenosha has any left. The Sendik's in Brookfield has a bunch remaining on their shelves.

 

I asked TG via IG and can confirm, we're not getting any. Had to drive up to SE Wisconsin to snag me a few.

 

Any good recommendations on who has the best TG IPA 4 packs selection in the Chicagoland area?I’m talking a store that gets most of their IPA collabs. Really trying to track down their untitled art collab, think piece.

 

Not seeing any check-ins anywhere close to Chicago. Rockford, WI, or IN are the only things within 85 miles.

 

I believe I saw it hit Cincinnati 1-3 weeks back.
