    I posted in the ISO:FT a few times trying to get a hold of a TG Assassin. I know that the 2013 that was released this weekend is only a 1,200 bomber give or take batch. This makes it pretty difficult to trade for with my limited TN distribution. I've tried Abyss, Darkness, TenFidy, and Hunahpu bottles, but nothing seems to work. Any helpful hints?

    something that isn't available in MN/IA/IL would be a start, brewery only would probably help and it should probably be ~$20

    Makes sense to me. Though I don't think Short's makes Cutthroat Pale Ale... you some kind of n00b or something?

    Brewery (a very good brewery) out in the middle of nowhere, I'd assume most of these bottles went to locals. I know there are a number of folks who trade that went to the release, but there are probably a fairly low number of folks looking to trade bottles, so it might be tough to come by; wish I could have gone. Good luck.

    Oh, & sorry for actually trying to be helpful.

    What was the limit per person on this 1200 bottle release in the middle of nowhere that was attended by people who trade

    Ain't no such thing as free Bruery beer. We pay for the right to buy SOME exclusive beers (which are becoming few and far between), but mostly distributed beers, early. I'd be surprised if the membership cost, compared to the beers that are included, plus swag, hold any real savings. So, I'd never ever say that my Grey Monday was even close to technically free. :wink:

    Since someone offered up Mimosa, I imagine it'll be difficult to land both of those for anything less (although i really hope I'm wrong..)

    Mornin' Delight = $10/300 Bottle Count
    Assassin = $20/1200 Bottle Count

    I'll let the reviews speak for themselves. I missed that Mimosa trade by a few hours and am trying to do the reverse, other then that i'd rather just drink them then trade.

    Cheers

    Assassin hit some retail outlets @ ~ $28.00.
    Pricing for TG is out of control on their brewery release stuff. I won't spend the money to get it when I can get KBS, BA Old Rasputin, and a host of others for less.

    All i know is TG sold it for $20 at the brewery. I can't say anything about the retail outlets. I mean there are some stores that sold darkness for $40 - i refuse to shop at such stores but it happens. Can't really blame TG or Surly for that though.

    That is not the point. TG is bottling to DISTRIBUTE to retail markets. If they are pricing their beer high, at the brewery, and then selling to retailers what THEY are selling the product for (which is what happened here), they won't sell much beer.

    In all fairness John's got one case and has sold 10 bottles in an hour, so the price point doesn't seem like it is stopping people from buying it.

    How much is hype/homerism? How many have had the best of the rest? I bet when people get other stuff cheaper, they will say damn, I overspent on that by $12.00
