Previous manager at CB Hyvee was way more active on FB about posting what new stuff came in, he moved on tho to a better store in Omaha  Win some, lose some. Cheers!

So what's going on with TG's brewing lately? They haven't bottled anything besides Pompeii and Xhops gold in the last few months. This time last year I had 10 or so TG beers in my fridge. They brewing for kegs? Filling barrels? Little bit of both? Not doing much brewing?

They have done Light Speed and King Sue as well in the past few months.

Ah yeah, forgot about those two. Even still, seems like it's been a while since anything else has rolled out. Just curious.

I believe they are doing more kegs too. They ceased that for a while and seem to be sending a fair amount to accounts again.

I feel like there has been some psuedoSue in the past few months too, but kegs and I think only Iowa saw the bottles.

We have been getting a fair amount of kegs in Iowa. I've heard they have enough for 10 accounts in the state to have beer regularly, so that's a pretty significant shift in their output which might be why we're seeing fewer bottle releases, though I don't particularly agree with that assessment. I feel like there's a lot of Decorah beer and that there has been less Florida beer, which I don't mind one bit!

I've been noticing a trend of more TG on tap here in Wisconsin too...

Still no TG taps in MN, anxiously waiting...

They're also working on getting the new brewery set up. I imagine that takes up a lot of Mike/Clark's time.

And there have been 5-6 tweets about filling barrels in the past few months. Makes me believe that a lot of the output is getting put in barrels right now. A bunch of people speculated that about this time last year when Mike was on his sabbatical that they didn't have anything in barrels. Now there are stacks and stacks of full barrels, so they essentially had to build those up from nothing.

I have to think the Iowa Taphouse is going through a ton of TG kegs.

Can't really complain about more Pompeii especially with the increased distro footprint, but curious about the decision to put out 3 batches of Pompeii in about a month(?) instead of a batch of sosus with some of the mosaic hops.

Mike made a mention to wanting to use a new crop he is trying out and maybe make Imperial Golden Nugget! Fingers crossed!!! I remember that trip last year going up for Imperial Golden Nugget and Twisted Galaxy like it was yesterday. I really think that might have been one of the best TG trips ever. I remember that batch of Zeelander being stand out as well! Good memories :grinning:

Not to mention Founders Mosaic Promise being readily available for $10/6 Pack. Would love to see them put out some variations a la Mo-zee.

Not for me. I went up that night and they didn't have enough at the taproom so I drove 4 hours for nothing. There was plenty the next day of course but I wasn't going back.

I have had many memorable trips to TG. Great times! Twisted Galaxy or Imperial GNug would be tasty! Last year's Hopsmack was incredible too. Did an official name ever get reached for the Xhops Gold?
