PseudoSue is still getting dialed in at Decorah. They had contract brewed it through a Florida distillery. They did it due to brewing constraints due to demand. It was a big miscalculation. They have been canning back in Decorah for the past few months. First few batches were inconsistent, each new batch is getting back closer to what it was. When it's the desired beer, it's ridiculous!

Yeah, I gotta say, these Pseudo cans taste phenomenal. Never had it before and I'm very impressed. It may not be super-hazy but flavor wise it's a beer I can see myself buying more of as long as the quality doesn't suffer

Toppling Drops a different release probably over each 1.5 weeks.

They released the Hopsmack! That ya'll got along with these 2 for the month of February. Fire, Skulls, and Money IPA and

DDH (Citra) PseudoSue Pale Ale. New brewing statement has been really dialed in.

From my understanding FSM and King Sue will be going to 4 packs. I believe they will still do bomber releases of the seasonal releases but it's dying out in Decorah. I expect the bomber prices to drop. They are 7.99 -11.99 here. A really phenomenal brewery that can compete with the best.

Their BA stouts are the best in the country. Just so damn hard to win the lottery. Thousands enter for a few thousand spots

Hey all! It was a pretty great honor to see we have a New England thread. The week we spent in the market getting to know craft beer supporters, our accounts, and the city was something we really appreciated and will never forget. Not to mention drinking some of the best beers in the world out here from many great breweries. We hope we can fit in. Here are a few answers to some question so you can get it from the source.

All the packaged beer we have sent, and will send to MA and RI come from our new brewery in Decorah IA.

Pricing: Did you know there is a law in both MA and RI that mandates that we do not charge our partners in MA and RI one cent more than the lowest price we give to any other distributor in any other state. It's the law! And it works well for us because every distributor in every state we are in gets the exact same price across the board. Once we sell the beer to a distributor (at the same price in every state) we can not influence their price - this is another law. We also, by law, can have no influence over the retailers pricing.

Brewhub - TG partnership. It was a great partnership for us. It helped us make the decision to build our 2nd new facility and take the jump from a 30 bbl brewhouse to a 100 bbl brewhouse. Our plan was to build a small volume with them over 3 years and then we would take it over, and that is what we have done. We don't want to make all the beer in the world, we just want to grow organically at this point. I would encourage you to visit their brewery when in Lakeland FL. Great taproom, great people, and they are making some award winning beers for themselves and their partners.

Lastly, if you have any questions or comments about our beer you can email us at [email protected]

We really appreciate your dedicated support of craft beer, and your opinions. We could not be prouder to be in your market, and hope you enjoy what we bring to the table.

    Cheers!

    Clark

Cracked open a can of Pompeii, my thoughts:

#1. Damn, this is a tasty IPA.
#2. This reminds of an Alchemist IPA. I'm not sure which one, but has a similar profile.

I'm really excited to be able to get this on the regular.

Pompeii is a lot like Focal, IMO. Now having the excellent luxury of trying both fresh, I think I prefer Focal, but corner store for 90% Focal beats Vermont run for 100% Focal most of the year.

I wasn't going to pick up King Sue because it's in a bomber for $15, but it looked very hazy in the bottle, so I figured what the heck. I also snagged a four pack of Pseudo Sue (2/12 I think? It's in my fridge, but I'm too lazy to get up).

Looking forward to tasting them this weekend. The fridge is looking very hoppy with Proclamation Derivitive Mosaic, Galaxy Four Seam, DDH Fort Point, and Nugget Nectar to round out the line-up.

Good thing I have a couple German brews, Wormtown's Helles, a Gunner's Daughter, and a Bigfoot to complement the hoppy beers.

Thanks for your reply-you know most of us here on BA love hearing it from the brewer's mouth. I will say though, that your response was a bit too canned for me; it was impossible for a even a die- hard New Englander to find a squabble with; however, you simplified a lot. Just for full disclosure, my first taste of King Sue two years ago was definitely one of my most memorable beer experiences. And in closing.... King Sue in 16oz- 4 pack- cans at 16.00 bucks is the place I would love to be. Signed - thedaveofbeer- big TG supporter-bullsh+t hater.

Those in western mass, Smith's in Springfield has Dorothy's New World Lager, Pseudo Sue, and King Sue on draft rn. Looks like they're giving away TG tulip glasses tonight too.

If you don't know Smith's, learn it! Bunch of Springdale on now from a previous tap takeover, plus a great bottle selection and killer BBQ from Theodore's downstairs.

Curious when you grabbed some? I swung in around 12:30-1pm and they only had Hopsmack and Pompeii left. Both are amazing btw. Hopsmack immediately reminded me of old school Congress St.

I grabbed a King Sue last night. It's a damn fine beer and I'll echo everyone else that I can't wait to see it in 4 packs.

Going to have to give psuedo sue another shot. Had it on draft. I wasn’t super impressed. Could have been due to the decadent ale double toasted marshmallow double ipa I had before leaving the house.

The beer looks good, but that cool retro tile behind your sink looks even better!

I am drinking a King Sue right now -wow-this beer amazing! I am not going to buy another 14 dollar bomber, but I can't wait to get some 4 packs of this. Anyone know how soon we can expect cans of King Sue in Massachusetts?

Won't be getting them in Iowa until April, so it's hard to say.
