So for people with the last session like me (end at 3:45), do they kick us out and we will have to join a line to get back in? Pretty sure the answer seems to be yes and I'll have to chalk this up to a rookie mistake.

How was the line to get back in for MD last year? Did the line clear or will people in the last session have to wait outside to get back in? Thanks in advance for any info

Is it just me or did the wagon train get lost and somehow end up delivering our Fire, Skulls & Money to Connecticut first?

I passed at $13.99 at my local store just now. Hard to drop a Jackson and a Lincoln plus a few coppers on an IIPA bomber.

What part of the Oregon Trail did they have people going East? The logical answer is when they hit the coast of Oregon they put the wagons on boats and sent them to China, down the Silk Road, through Europe and then boats to New England before continuing West to Chicago.

Anyone know if the last week of posts were purged for all eternity? Think there was some info on the taproom for MD not just stuff about the former brewer getting sued...

Seems the posts about the non compete etc. were moved to the general Beer News forum where there is thread just for that. Not sure what happened with the posts about the taproom however...

Could you imagine if Goose Island had done the non-competes, we'd have about 10 less breweries in Chicagoland....

Just picked up a four pack of Pseudo Sue that was dated 7/12. Looks like we're back to a somewhat clear beer except for the floating garbage at the bottom of the cans.

Just when I thought it was safe to go back in the water here comes Toppling Goliath putting out another subpar beverage. Be happy if they could pull their heads out of their asses and get me a beer I might want to buy on a regular basis but that doesn't look like it's going to be happening anytime soon and this beverage is destined for the drain.

Good thing they aren't screwing up their stout's otherwise they might have some problems paying off those loans.

Looks like I'll be keeping more of my money local because I have yet to see some of my favs in town fall off the tracks like they seem to do often in Decorah.

I bought plenty of Pseudo at 7.99 a 4 pack and even though it has been hit and miss, its still a relatively good deal.

Pompeii has been a constant in my fridge however.

I haven't bought anything from them in like 6 months, and I was serious enough about buying their shit that I bought a couple 4-packs when only the Field had PS.

The (nice) fact of the matter is, they're not the only game in town anymore. Even KS is equaled/bettered by the occasional local beer, so we get to enjoy our options now. I do hope they find some consistency with PS soon, though.

I opened a can from this run last night and, while there was sediment at the bottom of the glass, the beer was as tasty as usual.

I hate it when things float at the bottom of a can. Of course, this only happens when I hold it upside down....:grin::grin::stuck_out_tongue:

Mine seemed to taste overly bitter with a slight metallic tang. Beer was fresh enough to be tasting better IMO and they have been brewing this forever that there should not be any mistakes anymore.

Also had King Sue and Twisted Galaxy recently and KS was the better of the 3, with TG being Okay. Like @SeanBond there are some good options around town and like @ditka311 mentioned about the $7.99 price it was hard to pass up but I will be returning it to Binny's this evening and then stopping at Mikerphone for some fresh tap beer with the cash.

    Cheers

Sure, why not. It seems he has had Pseudo Sue several times previously so he has a baseline as to how it should taste. These cans were not up to his prior experience with the beer. For a beer which is produced on a regular basis (e.g., Pseudo Sue, Two Hearted, SNPA), returning cans which do not meet one's prior experiences, and therefore baseline expectations, doesn't seem unreasonable to me anyway. Many people do similarly in other parts of the consumer world, why should beer be any different? Certainly not something which should be abused, of course
