Hi Mountain BAs I'm getting married in 15 days now. One of my best friends from school and groomsman is in Dekalb, IL but his GF is in Iowa City. He's looking to bring in some TG beers for me. I did a little search but came up empty other than Hyvee. Is there anywhere else in Iowa City were TG bottles are sold. Also, what bottles can we expect to find at this point?
I had a friend that was out that way a week or two ago, and he struck out at every single place he looked. Apparently those bottles sell out in no time flat, so unless you are there right after a delivery....good luck. He tried all the Hyvee's and some of the smaller shops as well, no dice. Also, you are probably better off posting in the Midwest forum, we don't claim Iowa as one of ours
They are bottling Dorthy's, Sue, and GN today so you could probably find some next week. No official word on distribution yet but the previous post was right about them going fast. However, except for the last batch, they've been supplying the market with enough that it's been available for a few days at some places.
There is one very solid shop in IC that I know gets TG on a regular basis- Tell her to check John's Grocery. I know it goes fast when it arrives so they are likely announcing on FB or Twitter.
