Best hotel/vrbo/airnb that is within walking distance of TG and Pulpit rock? Any advice is great, if you don’t want to expand in here, PM is fine. TIA

 

I've stayed at Hotel Winneshiek a couple times. It's downtown, right next door to Mabe's Pizza and easy walking distance to the breweries. It's a little pricy for Decorah, but still not bad relative to other cities.

 

Anything within Decorah is basically walking distance, it's a two stoplight town with one main drag. Hotel Win is the nicest place in town and very convenient to everything you are going to want to do. I've stayed at the VRBO linked below with a group of friends and it worked out well. Probably a mile or so walk to TG and everything else is in between.

Stayed at Country Inn, a nice walk for me, maybe too long for others, but kept the calories down. Really could drive into "town" park on the street near the C&C and still be able to walk easily. No big deal, and it was easy finding a spot even on MD weekend.

 

There are a few Air BNBs behind main street. I can't remember what the address is, but we stayed at one for MD Day. Would definitely stay there again.

There is a nice little AirBNB place on Leif Erikson Drive which is only a couple of blocks from TG and a couple more to PR. Very convenient.
