Hahaha....clicked refresh at 5 seconds to go....put ticks in cart...clicked not robot.....said I was placed in queue......and says server error after about 5 mins. of waiting in queue.....hahhaha

 

That went about as well as I thought it would. Long time to get through captcha then sitting in line for 9 minutes before sold out message.

 

This is the first time I have done one of these releases.

Still trying as I got blocked in the same way that others above did.

From what I've read, it seems like it's a crap shoot if you get through or just get stuck, so...

Here's to hoping.

Christ. I hit that page right at 11:00 and I didn't get a ticket.

 

That's why lottery is better. Illusion of control and choice leads to a lot stronger disappointment and way more stress. Lottery is more fun, especially the ones where you don't know the announcement date.

 

From past experience with Etix, until the message says "Tickets Sold Out," keep trying. Right now it reads, "Tickets Currently Not Available." I've scored Dark Lord Day tickets on Etix a half hour after the initial release, despite the continual Not Available message.

FWIW, I got in immediately, and will be at Session 4.

 

Went for session 2. Waited "in queue". Didn't get a ticket. So not only do I not have luck at lotteries, I don't have luck at even buying tickets! Always next time, maybe.

 

Lotteries blow way too many no shows. I got mine, don't give up. For 2016 MD I got my tickets about 40 minutes after it started. Guaranteed more tix will pop up. Good luck to those with the tenacity to keep trying!

 

My wife got through and got us two tickets for session 2. Excited to go again.

 

I refreshed right at 11 got the que of death screen then after about 30 seconds for some lucky reason I got in and got 2 tix for session 3.

For those who have attended before, any benefit of one session over another?

 

So last year after I was already in Decorah and had picked up my beer, I was made aware that you could have pre-purchased pours of MD around town. If this is a thing again this year, I do not want to drop the ball on that. Does anyone have info regarding how that was handled last year? Thanks in advance!
