I would guess anywhere between noon and 5 and I'm sure they'll have an automated system do it.
I can picture Clark sending out 2,000 personalized emails though, all with his personal touch.
Fyi...saw this posted on a TG facebook reply:
E-mails are coming out later this evening
Emails going out. Just got mine.
Just got an email from TG. See you all in a month.
What's the closest/ easiest airport to fly into?
Just got an email. Booked a flight to NYC today thinking I wouldn't win. Anyone know if it's transferable?
You can cancel all flights within 24 hours of booking free of charge.
It will never cease to amaze me the number of people from far reaches that put absolutely no thought into how to actually get to Decorah on the date and time specified prior to signing up.
Best bet is Cedar Rapids or MSP. Might be able to coordinate a car pool from there
Cool story. I purchased tickets to NYC for a funeral this morning. Did not expect to win. Pretty sure that will open a spot up for other people.
So you are considering skipping a funeral that you were going to travel to NYC for in order to buy beer?
A funeral in 1 month from now? BTW there isn't any extra spots, they will just hold the beer and give it out at the brewery at some point for $100 per bottle.
No. Hence why I want to transfer it to a friend.
Not sure if this is in response to my earlier post. Don't see what difference it makes in regards to signing up, which was free.
Just came here to get some helpful tips and suggestions before booking anything.
Surprised to get a snide comment for asking which airport is recommended.
When they're pulling the plug on someone you have time. But thanks for the info.
Also look into Rochester, MN
Anyone know if the pickup windows are for winners only, or is it possible for others to come along to visit the taproom? Also, 2 forms of ID required? lol!
My confirmation email correct 2 form of ID to 1. But has to be the exact ID you used to register.
I'm not sure about last year but in 2015 it was for winners only all others had to wait until 430 when the taproom opened to the public.
They did this for the KBBS/Assassin release. I was worried as my passport just expired. This is what they responded with when I asked for clarification.
Bring anything that the bank would accept as a second form of ID…pay stub, credit card statement, etc.
I believe in this thread around the KBBS/Assassin announcement, some else called and they said the same thing, but added they would only need the second form if there was a question or concern. They only asked for my ID when I picked up my package from that release.
I got mine email!! 2 other good friends of mine got theirs too!
My grandma & dog didn't win though.
Bring your pay stub/credit card statement to a beer release. 2017, everybody....
Looks like I'm headed there again.
Anyone know if C&C is doing anything? I went for b2 release and that share was awesome
What time is everyone's pickup window?
Yes they are and it is also the Pulpit Rock Anniversary party. I know I hung out from someone from Michigan last year at the far back of the patio of C&C. Maybe it was you, maybe I will see you again.
We (or rather my SO) got 12 to 3 pickup window. Never been, so excited to check everything out (even if I can't go into the actual TG lol).
I was there in 2015 but not last year unfortunately. Thanks for the info! Forgot about PR. Will have to check them out
These releases have never been transferable under any circumstances. Bummer for you and everyone else who was hoping to win.
I was with you at C&C and the public session at TG. I was the guy who left at 2am from Columbia MO. Didn't get an email this year though. :-(
Do we know how many people won tickets? Estimated bottle count?
Yep, we'll be doing a share again for sure! Waiting for final info on what we're pouring, but looking like taps from TG/Pulpit and the the good people at Forager as well.....
Winter share was fun/crazy, but really looking forward to being back outside again. MD day B2 on the patio was a good time.
I'll put up the FB link for the share when it's online!
Come back up. Last year the shares were better than the MD (although Term Oil was fantastic!).
Twitter is so much better! :-) Not sure if you are doing ticketed pours for MD like you did for Assassin, but FB is tough for some of us.
I was at both the winter basement share for KBBS and last years MD share. The outdoor space is so perfect. Looking to be back out there again.
This is true...
I was bummed for about 30 seconds about not getting an email today. But now you've got me thinking about coming out for the shares and pulpit rock anyway. Cheers!
2000 people won tickets to purchase a 4 pack of 12oz bottles.
I hear ya, I didn't win this time and almost want to head down to Decorah because I had such an awesome time at the shares but sadly I don't know if I can justify a day off work(i work every saturday) to drink beer and come home empty handed.
I'm tempted. The C&C share and the public TG share were bananas. Closing on a house in about 45 days though, so I'm gonna be good. Oh well, next year.
C&C is fantastic. Although, look out for a bait and switch like they pulled with Assassin flight for the last release.
