I think they should just give me a 4 pack, for no cost and hand deliver it to me. Especially since it was rather rude of them not to consult with me if this day worked for me. Had they, they would have known it was the worst time for me since my daughter's next limb lengthening surgery is coming up.

I was in the afternoon group, but they said it was running low so I booked it right to the counter and ordered one. It lasted a little while.

 

Planning a trip to Iowa City for a Hawkeye game but was hoping to make TG part of the trip. What would be the best airport to fly into to stop at TG first before making the drive to Iowa City?

 

Boy that's a tough one. Decorah is 2.5 hours from Iowa City by car. But I think I'd base my flying out of there. I think the Cedar Rapids airport would be your best bet?

Unless you want to fly into Lacrosse and out of Cedar Rapids. But one way car rentals can get pricey.

TG isn't on the way unfortunately. The brewery itself isn't really worth visiting (yet) and I really think you'd have more fun just spending time in the IC area. There's plenty to do, a couple of good breweries, and on a game weekend it will be a blast.

 

Closest airport I believe is Cedar Rapids....will probably cost a pretty penny....could always do MSP amd just drive down

 

You could always fly into Rochester, MN, too. I think that's like 1.5 hrs from Decorah.

 

I agree with this. Pulpit is fun to go to with their new patio, but both taprooms are small and only worth going to say you've been there. I'd imagine that when TG's new facility is up, it would be a similar experience to Central Waters' facility.

Can't say for sure but I remember within the last couple of weeks reply to someone on twitter saying they are definitely brewing another batch this summer.
